This elegant retreat features a wood-burning fireplace, dining area for eight, fully-equipped and stocked gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms including 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 double futon in an office. With plenty of closet space, four televisions, and four bathrooms equipped with amenities like a hair dryer, toiletries, bathtub, and shower, guests will feel right at home. There is also a game room in the basement with a pool table. You may also enjoy the fully furnished outdoor patio with a firepit, as well as the outdoor kitchen off of the main kitchen with a grill and pizza oven.
The house is located on SE Capitol Hill and is a 15-minute walk to Eastern Market, 8th Street restaurants and shopping, and a 25-minute walk to the Capitol. There is plenty of off-street parking and the Potomac Avenue metro (Orange, Silver, Blue lines) is two blocks around the corner, giving you easy access to all of D.C. There is also a Safeway grocery store located two blocks from the house.
The Anacostia River Walk is 5 minutes from the house, and the owner has a rowing machine, indoor treadmill, and indoor bike, and hand weights, if you are interested in working off some of those holiday calories! :)
