Positive: My husband and I stayed on Friday, December 12th, 2025, and arrived late in the evening. We did not hear any hammering or loud noise from renovations during our stay. The stairs, piano, Christmas Tree, and vintage furniture made the arrival and stay nostalgic and romantic. We walked leisurely, the short distance,from the hotel to the Mexican Restaurant without having to get on any main road. There is a Dollar General close by in walking distance too. The staircase steps were wide enough for plenty of balance while taking the short walk to your room. An elevator is nearby if needed. The staircase offers a beautiful opportunity for a proposal or group pictures. We loved the feel of the atmosphere during our stay. For breakfast, they offered, bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, oatmeal, muffin, cereal, fruit, waffles, yogurt, etc. The lady checking us in was friendly and took pictures of us in front of the Christmas tree and on the staircase. My husband has a bad back. The bed was very comfy and did not make his back hurt. The curtain/window area in our room had two different pull down shade options for darkening/lighting the room. The lights by our bed worked, so we did not have to get up to turn off the lights. We stayed in room 203. The view was of the outside dumpsters. Haha. We did not stay for the outside view anyways. That did not bother us. We had two sinks-one in the bathroom and one right outside the bathroom. You can still wash your hands, put on make-up, etc. while another person showers/bathes with the bathroom door shut for privacy. The room had a small fridge and Keurig. The tv was a little small, but still plenty big enough to view from the bed. We didn’t watch any shows, but the tv worked if we wanted to watch it. They offer a small dove soap and shampoo at the sink. Pack your own hand soap and shower products like we did for comfort. The price was great! We will return.

Negative: The orange juice machine was watered down. Stick with the coffee. The room was a little dusty, but they are renovating.

Summary: The price is great, the vintage feel was romantic, and We will definitely come back to stay!
