This is a charming and spacious waterfront house located on a quiet bay of Oak Point on the St. Lawrence River perfect for a relaxing getaway. The River is a spectacular waterway with fantastic fishing, freshwater swimming, and amazing sunset views. The cottage has a private dock. Located about 25 minutes from Alexandria Bay & Boldt Castle, and 40 minutes to Ontario, Canada.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths, including a bedroom and bath on the first floor. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, and kitchen with everything ready for your stay. A large deck with grill overlooks the river perfect for reading, relaxing and outdoor dining. The large master bedroom has its own balcony; the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine as the evening sunsets. There is a large grass yard to the river with access to launch kayaks or canoes. The house was freshly painted throughout.
This is truly a unique community on the St Lawrence river. There is plenty of privacy at the cottage but the locals are wonderful. A beautiful swimming dock with sandy bottom is 100 yards from our dock. The water is crystal clear.
The cottage sits on a quiet bay that is open to the river so it is protected from the river chop. The dock is easily accessed from launching your boat at the town launch on the other side of the bay. The best approach to the dock is provided with your welcome letter.
