At night -- all the stars come out in their majestic grandeur across the endless skyscape -- truly a star-gazing retreat and peaceful, quiet get-a-way.

The open floor plan of the main house is contemporary, comfortable and flows easily from living room to kitchen with wall-to-wall French doors that open wide to the big screened patio -- bringing the outdoors indoors and providing a perfect place for a couple and/or small group of friends to enjoy each other while cooking, listening to music and relaxing while taking in endless views.
The fully stocked kitchen with large center island is easy to navigate, complete with spices, oils, condiments, kitchen gadgets, waffle maker, and double convection oven -- providing everything you need to make a delicious meal.
The master bedroom is calming and serene, with an incredible Saatva (say "ahhhh") mattress and top of line bedding for a restful nights sleep after having explored the nearby hiking trails, wine tours, and Pedernales river. And the master bath walk-in steam shower lined with river-rock includes an overhead rainfall option that is just wonderful.
Enjoy roasting marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit, take the trails to the lower valley and hike amongst the wildflowers and even take in hill country views from the outdoor shower -- so many ways to enjoy and embrace this refuge we call Sparrow Ridge.
The main house sleeps 4 with the master bedroom king-sized bed for 2 and a separate living room with a large sectional couch that easily pulls out to sleeper (think big flat square couch) adjacent to a 2nd full bath with walk-in shower.
The bungalow is just steps away from the main house and sleeps 2 with a king-sized bed.
It also includes its own kitchenette and bathroom with step-in shower, and a small but comfortable seating area with a large TV, chair, ottoman and leather couch.
Located in Johnson City, on the wine tour trails and nearby Fredericksburg shopping. We call it Sparrow-Ridge because its 10 acres perched high over the Pedernales River ridgeline is home to sparrows and songbirds of every kind and color -- with wildflower fields and groomed hiking trails below -- this is a bird watching peaceful paradise!
