1 Bedroom Cabin in Alsea
We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During the winter months, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minutes drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak! There are many miles of trails, ranging from easy to difficult. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minutes drive from here, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. The cabin is located on our 5 acre property and is fairly close to our home, but extremely private. We are right off of a busy highway as well with log trucks.
The kitchen space is small and has a sink, fridge/freezer, hot plate, pots and pans, microwave, Keurig, and a griddle for cooking. We do provide coffee and dry creamers.
Please note: There is no stove in the cabin. This is not a full-sized kitchen.
The upstairs loft has the queen-sized bed - it is open with no door but has a safety railing. This is not technically a private room. The only private room where you can close a door is the bathroom. There is no extra bedroom downstairs in the main living space. The sofa sleeper is the couch in the living room space. That is for extra guests (no more than 4 total in the cabin though). Once upstairs in the loft there is a safety railing.
There is a washer and dryer in the cabin. We supply detergent as well.
You will have access to mini shampoos, soaps, toothpaste, a mini toothbrush, lotion, extra toilet paper, etc in the bathroom.
I have also built a spacious deck that goes around 3 sides of the cabin. It's a great vantage point overlooking our creek. We hope you enjoy the time outside! Pets are welcome as well!

Other things to note
The cabin is small but comfortable! We do have a TV in the living room. There is no cable but you will have access to Netflix and WiFi. Our creek has small Steelhead and Chinook salmon runs from October-November (catch and release), and we are 2.4 miles from the Alsea Trout Fish Hatchery which has great fishing October-February.
