1 Bedroom Apartment in Central Park North, New York
We sometimes open our home to artists, writers, teachers, grad students who need to come to NYC for a few months to further their careers, education or who need a friendly place to land while they find a permanent apartment. Although, we set a monthly rate ($2000), we are flexible depending on conditions, but we do not rent short-term. This is neither a place for vacationers nor is it for permanent residency. Before you request dates, please send me an inquiry with dates, your age, where you are coming from and why you are coming to the city.
This discreet Harlem studio is unusual in that it features both a private entrance and entry into the rest of the apartment. It has a private bath with ample closet and storage space, wood floors, and high ceilings. Your level of privacy depends on your needs. Some people are in and out of the shared living areas. Others keep to themselves but we are always here. There is a washer-dryer in the basement and a vacuum upstairs. There is also a cat-phobic dog so sorry...no cats.
Netflix-enabled TV and wireless. Bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub and double sinks. Linen provided.
Located on a quiet block in one of the greenest Manhattan neighborhoods. Central Park, Morningside Park, St. Nicholas and Mount Morris Parks are all within walking distance.
Many bars, restaurants, jazz clubs and outdoor activities.
Transportation: The ABCD subway lines deliver you to Columbus Circle in 10 minutes and Times Square in 20 minutes.
M60 Bus: Straight from LGA airport to 125th Street for under $3.
Columbia University is a 15 minute walk.
