1 Bedroom Apartment in Central Park North, New York
We are a professional couple in our 30s and we have an extra apartment in our family owned brownstone building that we sublet on a short or long term basis. We know how hard it is to find clean, nice, and reasonably priced accommodations as a visitor to our city. What you see in the pictures and listing here is what you get! Since we have family in the building we are available 24/7 should you need any help or have any questions. The fully furnished and newly renovated apartment is located on the fourth floor, with gorgeous floors, stainless steel appliances (dishwasher!), and all the amenities you could hope for. It is a completely private apartment. The living room windows have southern exposure, looking onto the street, while the bedroom windows look onto the very quiet and peaceful backyard. There is a shared luxury washer/dryer 1 floor away, and the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for cooking. The bedroom has one queen-sized bed. The living has a couch (NOT pull-out), plus there is one comfortable cot with a cushy mattress, and one fold out mattress for extra people. If you are traveling with a child, pack n' play, blankets, toys, and books can be provided. Hair dryer, curling iron, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, CD player/radio, linens, and towels all included. We are in a very safe neighborhood, only 10 blocks North from Central Park, and a short walk to the A,B,C,D,2,3 subway lines. You can be in midtown Manhattan in about 15 minutes on the express trains! Some landmarks around the area include: Apollo Theater Studio Museum of Harlem Cotton Club The Harlem School of the Arts Minton's Playhouse Morningside Park Mount Morris Park Historic District Museum of the City of New York We are also close to many amazing restaurants and great nightlife. There are 2 grocery stores only three blocks away, one of which is a Whole Foods. A guidebook with area maps and take-out menus will be provided, plus free high-speed WiFi. Parking in the the neighborhood is free and relatively easy. We hope you will enjoy our beautiful building and residential neighborhood as much as we do!! Note: Absolutely no smoking allowed indoors.
