Our beach house “Searenity” is nestled in Prime Hook Beach along the Delaware Bay and Prime Hook National Wildlife Preserve located off Rt. 1 north of Lewes & Rehoboth.
If you’re looking to get away from the traffic, hustle and bustle of the beach crowds, this is your place to relax and embrace all that mother nature has to offer. Step back in time and discover our private, quiet beach community. The moment you enter Prime Hook all your stress and worries will immediately disappear.
Just imagine starting your morning with a breathtaking sunrise from the beach while sitting on the front porch and ending the day with stunning sunsets from the rear and side deck overlooking the preserve. This is where you will capture sightings of eagles, blue herons, egrets, and other migratory birds.
The beach is as natural as it gets. Enjoy the day just relaxing on the beach, kayaking, fishing, combing for sea glass/shells, watching the dolphins swim by and at night building a beach bonfire, so don’t forget to bring your marshmallows! You may capture a glimpse of the ghost crab that pops its head out of the sand or the horseshoe crab that may need some help getting back into the water. Keep in mind there are no lifeguards on the beach, but as you can see from the pictures the water is relatively calm.
Home has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, with unobstructed views of the beach and preserve in every room. 30 second walk to the beach with direct beach access in front of the home. Kitchen is completely fully stocked with utensils/pots/pans/dishes, washer & dryer, outside shower, hammock and some beach chairs. There is plenty of storage under the home and guests are welcome to bring their kayaks, fishing gear, bikes, umbrella and additional beach chairs.
There is also plenty to do in the surrounding area. Visit the historic town of Lewes, plenty of duty free outlet shopping, Junction Breakwater walk/bike Trail, Lewes/Cape May Ferry, Dogfish Head Brewery in the quaint town of Milton, Rehoboth restaurants and Funland boardwalk, Midway Speedway Park, Dupont Mansion Tour, nearby golf course, Cape Henlopen State Park, Cape Water Tours & Taxi, Delmarva Discovery Tours and Dover Downs Casino.
NOTE: 2 exterior cameras installed. Front camera faces the driveway simply to confirm there are no dogs as this is not a pet friendly property. The back camera faces the water for weather purposes whenever the house is vacant.
